Our Secondary Phase
Welcome to Hailsham Academy Secondary Phase, part of our all-through school, where students continue their journey from early years through to Year 11.
As part of Hailsham Academy and MARK Education Trust, we are committed to providing the very best possible education for every learner, supporting them to grow into confident, capable and successful young people. Our Secondary Phase builds on the strong foundation established in our Primary Phase and Pre-School, ensuring a seamless and cohesive educational experience.
Our school is located in the heart of our community and serves a vibrant and diverse student population. Our students are remarkable young people, and they deserve the very best education we can offer. Since our last Ofsted inspection in March 2023, the Secondary Phase has undergone significant positive changes, including a revised leadership and pastoral structure, a renewed focus on high-quality teaching, and robust curriculum implementation.
In September 2025, we were delighted to join MARK Education Trust. Working alongside our partner schools, we continue to retain our unique identity while benefiting from the collective strength and collaboration of the Trust. This partnership enables us to share best practice, build on excellent teaching and learning, enhance leadership capacity, and provide even greater support for our students.
At Hailsham Secondary Phase, we place relationships at the heart of everything we do. Our staff are ambitious for our students, know them well, and ensure lessons are personalised and inclusive. We are committed to nurturing happy, successful, and confident young people by combining academic excellence with a focus on wellbeing, social development, and the skills needed for life beyond school. Our curriculum is broad, balanced, and knowledge-rich, designed to foster curiosity, develop passions, and inspire lifelong learning.
