Open Events
We are delighted to welcome prospective families to visit our school and experience our vibrant all-through community for themselves. Our open events provide an opportunity to meet our staff and students, explore our excellent facilities and learn more about the educational journey we offer from Pre-School through to Year 11.
Whether your child is preparing to start Reception or moving into Year 7, we look forward to showing you what makes Hailsham Academy such a special place to learn, grow and thrive.
Primary Phase Open Events
If your child is due to start Reception in September 2027, we warmly invite you to visit our Primary Phase during our open events this autumn.
Our open events provide an opportunity to:
- Meet our Headteacher and Early Years team
- Explore our purpose-built facilities
- Visit classrooms and learning spaces
- Learn more about our curriculum and school values
- Find out how we support every child to flourish from the very start of their educational journey
Open Evening and Open Morning Tours
November 2026
During our open events, you will have the opportunity to see the school in action, meet members of staff and discover how we nurture curiosity, confidence and a love of learning.

Secondary Phase Open Events
If your child is preparing to join Year 7, we invite you to visit our Secondary Phase and discover our ambitious curriculum, strong pastoral care and vibrant school community.
Open Day
Saturday 3 October 2026
9:30am – 12:30pm
Open to all families, including those with children in Year 5, our Open Day is an excellent opportunity to:
- Tour our facilities
- Take part in interactive subject activities
- Meet our students, staff and leadership team
- Hear presentations from senior leaders
- Learn more about life at Hailsham Academy Secondary Phase
No booking required.
Year 6 Open Morning Tours
Monday 5 October – Friday 9 October 2026
From 9:30am
Led by our Student Ambassadors, these guided tours provide an opportunity to:
- Experience lessons in action
- Explore the school during a normal working day
- Meet staff and students
- Hear from members of our leadership team
- Ask questions in an informal setting
Advance booking is required and priority will be given to Year 6 families.
Visit Us
We strongly encourage families to visit us and experience our school community first-hand. Open events are often the best way to gain a sense of our culture, values and ambitions for every child.
