We are an OFSTED-registered pre-school offering a friendly, safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can play, learn, and grow. Our aim is to give every child the best possible start to their learning journey and support a smooth, confident transition into school.
Our pre-school operates from a spacious room attached to the school, with its own toilet and changing facilities, as well as access to a private garden area. Children also benefit from the use of the school’s resources and additional outdoor spaces, enriching their learning and play experiences.
Costs
Our Pre-school is open for children aged 2 – 4 years old, from Monday to Friday during term time only, at a cost of £6 per hour.
Parents/carers to provide lunch, nappies and wipes.
3–4-year-olds will be offered a free piece of fruit or vegetable each day for snack from the National School Fruit and Vegetable Scheme (SFVS). 2-year-olds will need to bring in their own healthy snack.
Hot lunch can be purchased at an additional cost and paid for using the ArborPay app.
Hours:
- AM Sessions are 8:30am – 11:30am
- PM Sessions are 11:30am – 2:30pm
- A Full Day session is 8:30am – 2:30pm
- Optional additional hour which can be added to a full day or PM session 2.30pm-3.30pm
EYEE funding can be used for all hours except for the optional additional hour
Early Years Educational Entitlement (EYEE)
- Hailsham Academy Pre-school is registered for 2 year old EYEE funding
- Hailsham Academy Pre-school is registered for 3/4 year old EYEE funding

The Pre-school\Nursery opening hours during term time are between 8:30am and 3:30pm from Monday to Friday. The Pre-school is closed on INSET days and public holidays.
