Secondary Phase New Parent Welcome Meeting

Wednesday 17 June 6.00pm – 7.30pm

For families of children who have accepted a school place in Year 7 for September 2026.

We would like to invite you to our in-person welcome meeting for parents and carers on Wednesday 17 June from 6.00pm to 7.30pm at our Secondary Phase site.

This is a great opportunity to meet key members of staff and learn a little more about your child’s time at school and the transition process and support we offer to your children to support their move from primary school to secondary school.

Year 8 HPV Vaccinations – Friday 26 June 2026

Information has been sent out detailing how to register your child for the vaccinations, which is organised by the NHS Schools Immunisation Team.


Year 6 Transition Days – Tuesday 30 June & Wednesday 1 July 2026

We look forward to welcoming our new 2026 Year 7 starters who will spend two days at the Secondary Phase site, where they will get to familiarise themselves with the school, meet their Mentor teachers, meet classmates and get a taster of secondary school lessons.

Year 6 Residential Trip – Wednesday 8 – Friday 10 July 2026

To mark the end of their primary school journey, our Year 6 children have a fun-filled residential trip to PGL in Windmill Hill.


Secondary Phase Honours Evening – Monday 13 July 2026

Our second Honours Awards Evening to celebrate the achievements of our students across all subject areas for this academic year. Each Head of Department will nominate 5 students for each year group for an Honours Awards and two finalists for each will be invited to attend our Honours Evening with up to two guests.
