Open Events – Secondary Phase
We are very much looking forward to welcoming prospective students and their families to our forthcoming Open Events in October 2025.
This autumn marks an exciting new chapter for our school as we become Hailsham Academy, part of MARK Education Trust. We warmly invite you to visit us at our Secondary Phase as we as we begin this new stage in our journey with a refreshed identity, a clear set of values and a strong focus on providing the very best education for every student.
These events will give you an opportunity to:
- Explore our school environment and facilities
- Meet our dedicated staff and students
- Learn more about our curriculum, values and school life
- Ask any questions you may have about how we support the transition to secondary education
Secondary Phase Open Event
Saturday 4 October 2025, 9:30am – 12:30pm
- Attend presentations in the Main Hall at 9:45am or 11:00am
- Explore our facilities
- Take part in interactive activities
- Chat with our staff and students
No booking required for our Saturday event – all are welcome
Year 6 Open Morning Tours
Monday 6 October to Friday 10 October 2025, 9:30am – 10:45am
- Guided tours with our Student Ambassadors
- Observe our school on a normal working day
- Meet key members of staff supporting Year 6 – 7 transition
Booking is essential – priority will be given to Year 6 families.
A full invitation with all the details has been sent via our feeder primary schools.

Secondary Phase
For current Year 6 parents/carers at the Primary phase ONLY: If you would like your child to continue in Year 7 at the Secondary phase then you do not need to submit an application to ESCC. A place will be automatically allocated to your child in Year 7 as Hailsham Academy is an all-through school.
