East Girls Cricket Regional Cricket Victory

A huge congratulations to our U13 (Year 8) Girls’ Cricket Team, who were crowned champions on Tuesday after an outstanding day of cricket.

On their way to lifting the trophy, the girls secured impressive victories over Uckfield, Bexhill and another Hailsham Academy side. As the competition intensified, so did their confidence and determination — with several superb individual performances along the way.

⭐ Savannah finished as the leading wicket taker across the competition

⭐ Bella captained the side brilliantly and produced a stunning cover drive that set the tone

A special mention also to our Year 7 team, who represented the Academy superbly against girls a year older than themselves — including a fantastic win over Uckfield on the day. A brilliant display of courage and character.

The Year 8 team now progresses to the next stage of the competition at Bede’s later in March — and we look forward to supporting them in the next round.
