The Railway Children at Glyndebourne Opera House
Earlier this month, 46 students from Years 7 to 10 had the incredible opportunity to visit the world-renowned Glyndebourne Opera House to see The Railway Children. The trip, held on the first day of term, was a huge success, and our students were an absolute credit to the school.
Head of Performing Arts, Mr Dipple, commented: “For many, this was their first experience of live opera, and what a venue to start with! Glyndebourne provided a stunning professional setting right on our doorstep, offering our students a chance to immerse themselves in world-class performance and culture.”
We were delighted to hear glowing feedback from our coach driver at Renown, who praised the students for their excellent behaviour during both journeys. This reflects the maturity and respect shown by our students throughout the day.
A big thank you to Mrs Albertella and Mrs Murray for their invaluable support on the trip.
