Our Hailsham Way – Student Votes

It is important that all members of our community have a sense of pride in belonging to Hailsham Community College and since September we have been working hard to introduce our new student rewards system, Our Hailsham Way, which is designed to celebrate students who are meeting our expectations and working well.  We all know that to give and receive praise makes us feel good, and a crucial part of our improvement journey is to ensure that all of our community, including students and staff (teaching and non-teaching) feel valued by each other.

We invited students, parents and colleagues to submit a few words of thanks or praise to members of staff who have made a personal difference to them or their child.  We have been overwhelmed with positive comments, and it is wonderful to see how much our staff are appreciated by our community.
